Big Girl Purchase!

alright y'all... I finally did it! I am now blogging to you from my very first big girl purchase, my IPAD AIR 2! I am so pleased with this purchase. It took me a lot of guts and gusto to finally pull the trigger, but I am proud of myself for waiting a year and thinking it over before I did it. Yes, a year... I wanted to make sure I truly needed one and they just keep coming out with the newer versions. So I waited.

I already feel like this sexy mama needs a name!

Case of the Comfies

Since I began teaching my hips, legs, and especially feet have taken an immense beating! I can not stress enough how in love with "grandma" shoes I have been lately. It is unfortunate that we as teachers, nurses, and other foot-tattering career choices get shunned for our less than cute shoe choices, but you can't blame us! Over the past few months I have gone on a "cute but super comfy" shoe hunt and have actually surfaced with quite a few decent choices. If you need some extra support (haha, see what I did there), don't worry, I got you. 

These Born nude flats have been a great pair to most of my teaching outfits. Unfortunately I can no longer wear my adorable target nude flats to teach in due to comfort issues, but I have found solace in these bad boys. The arch support is outstanding and I can last a good 8 hours in these shoes with a ton of about 10 minutes of sitting. 

Aerosole has been another life saving brand for me. Last year for graduation I found the best (and cutest) pair of black wedges made by this brand and have been obsessed ever since. Ladies, it is honestly like walking on pillows for hours at a time. I could not be happier with the arch support and comfort that these shoes have provided me over the past months. Yet I bought these in just black suede with a quilted pattern to keep my feet warmer in the winter. 

Last but certainly not least, Sonoma has also been a life saver for my feet. I found this pair of cute flats at Kohl's on a super sale from 69.00 to 29.99!! They too have an excellent support in the insole and lift up at the toe to keep me standing lighter on my feet. Run now, they are still on sale!

Oh so LUSH!

Many of you lovely ladies probably already order on a regular basis from the wonderful land of LUSH. Well it was my turn... I have been waiting and playing with the idea for a very long time. My gorgeous blogger of a best friend Makeshift Munch has been introducing me to all of her favorites for a while now, and I have finally made my decision on what I want!
