Easy Pep Talk

As I was scrolling through pinterest... as usual, I came across the cutest motivation and decided to make it my background on my laptop. I have really found that if I keep a motivational quote on my computer screen it helps me get through my work and the day just a little bit easier. My challenge to you: find yourself a good motivation and change that background right away!

Summer Concert

One of my favorite things to do in the summer time is go to concerts with friends! I thought I would give you a sneak peak of the type of outfit I think I will be sporting to the Chris Young concert next week. Just another excuse for this southern girl to break out her boots!

101 in 1001

Lately I have been obsessed with making lists and checking things off, but in an academic sense. I suddenly remembered that I am still in the process of working on my "101 in 1001". If you haven't heard of this fun and adventurous project it has become a absolute hit with me and my best friend! You can see an example of her 101 in 1001 on her amazing blog right here. Basically it is a list of 100 things (with making a new list when the old one is completed as 101) that you would like to complete within 1001. This forces me to think in the big picture and not just within the frame of next week. I love this because I can get fun and adventurous with it, but still have time to long range plan for certain items if need be. I have found that it forces me to get up and try new things and some are even out of my comfort zone! So I challenge you to start thinking...

I know it might look like a pretty eclectic outfit choice, but I totally believe in casually fun cookout attire. I love a good Fourth of July cookout with friends and family. Later we all load up the trucks and head over to the fireworks! This outfit would be the perfect combination of patriotic and cute.

May Emptiness

I love reading these posts on some of my favorite blogs so I thought I would give it a try. Here are some of my favorite items from May, of which I have used the last "drops". 

1. Nexxus- Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Leave-in Spray:

Alright y'all, this stuff is GOLD for my hair. I have really thick and wavy hair, and I have been using this after every shower for about a year now. I have honestly only been through one bottle and when I hit the bottom I immediately went out to get more. I can brush through my hair with ease after just a few sprays of this. 

2. Philosophy body wash- Happy Birthday Beautiful!:

I got this for my birthday from my best friend and have been using it ever since. I really have enjoyed it because it doesn't leave me feeling filmy and it smells delicious! Who can beat smelling like birthday cake after every shower.

3. Slatkin & Co. candle- Frosted Cupcake: 

If you are a candle person but don't really enjoy the heavy scents this candle is for you. I am candle obsessed and do not mind heavy scents at all, but this one was a nice change of pace because it was very light. You can't go wrong with a classic vanilla scent. I burned through it right away!

i'm done!!

Wow y'all! I'm finally done with my undergraduate degree. Where did these four years go? Seriously, to all of you younger ladies, DO NOT wish it away. I have had the time of my life and met some of my favorite people, but I do believe it is time to move on to bigger things... for me that is my graduate year that started a week ago. I have been so incredibly busy that I wasn't able to share a few of my pictures that we took two weeks ago. Here is a little peek at my beautiful campus and my graduation garb!
